Watercolour of the Te Papa cemetery at Tauranga, New Zealand, 1866. This watercolour was painted by Lieutenant William Kay, who served with the 68th Light Infantry in New Zealand during the Second Maori War, 1864-66. The British soldiers killed at the battles of Gate Pah and Te Ranga in 1864 were buried in this small cemetery. Acc No: 419
